The method of selecting a thermos cup

We purchase insulated cups for insulation purposes. When choosing insulated cups, besides avoiding some misconceptions, the most important thing is to understand some methods for selecting insulated cups. Below are some tips for choosing thermos cups.

1. Thermal insulation performance identification method

Pour boiling water into a thermos cup, seal the bottle tightly and let it sit for a few minutes. Then touch the cup body with your hand. If there is a noticeable warmth, especially at the bottom of the cup, it means that the cup has lost its vacuum degree and its insulation performance is not good. If the cup is always cool, it means that the insulation effect of the cup is good.

2. Sealing performance identification method

This method is relatively simple, and most people should be familiar with it. It is to fill the cup with water, then invert it or shake it vigorously to verify its sealing performance.

3. Choose a cup based on its appearance

A good insulated cup can be felt from packaging to appearance. We can observe the quality of the inner and outer surfaces of the insulated cup. The inner and outer surfaces of a good insulated cup are generally smooth, without scratches or bumps, and the cup mouth is smooth without burrs or welds.

4. Plastic accessory identification method

No matter what material the insulation is made of, there are usually plastic accessories in it. Whether the accessories used are healthy and environmentally friendly is crucial, and can be identified by smell. If the insulation cup is made of food grade plastic, its odor will be small, the surface will be bright, there will be no burrs, it will have a long service life, and it is not easy to age; If it is ordinary plastic, then the overall quality of this thermos cup will not be much better.
